Inaccessible Pinnacle Weekend

This weekend trip on Skye offers you the exciting opportunity to climb Scotland’s famous Inaccessible Pinnacle!

Day one you will use as a training day, most likely climbing one of the other Munros on the Skye Cuillin ridge. Then on day two, a fine walking approach takes you to the summit of Sgurr na Banachdich before gentle scrambling takes you south towards the Inaccessible Pinnacle. A 70 meter, moderate graded rock climb will find you on top of the now ‘Accessible Pinnacle’ and an exciting 17 meter abseil will get your feet back on firm ground. Bypassing An Stac high above Coire Lagan leads wonderfully up the slabs to the summit of Sgurr Mhic Choinnich. A descent of the An Stac screes leads past Loch Coire Lagan and into Glen Brittle. Full details will be agreed before of your trip and the In Pinn might be done on day one if the weather is better.

Instructor to client ratio:

We run these events on a 1:2 ratio. Costs are per peson. If you would like a 1-2-1 service please get in touch. Minimum of two persons required for each trip to go ahead or higher cost for the days will be offered for 1:1 if only one person books.

Joining details, meet Times & locations

Full meet up details will be sent in the weeks before the event. Boths days will likely start from Glen Brittle.

Kit

Joining details, participation forms and kit lists will be sent out the week before the event. We will provide the techncial equipment required but you are welcome to use your own harness or helmet.
